Lessen loading time

The internet is truly vast and reaches to the far corners of the globe and technology makes this all possible. This does unfortunately not mean that every web user has access to state of the art technology. A huge percentage of people make use of broadband, but a significant portion of all internet users still use dialup connections.
This is an important fact to keep in mind when designing a new website. You will lose all potential clients that have slower connection speeds if your web design does not cater to those users with slower connections.
Thus it is vital to look at all your images and test the loading time of these during web design. Unfortunately the more intricate images and graphics involved and the more interactive they are, the slower they load.
Cater across the spectrum
Web users with dial up connections normally have no problems with text. The offenders are those large resolution images that many like to use as they can load incredibly slowly. How do you create a balance? Balance that will attract both the site visitors with fast connecting speeds and those with slower speeds? You can still use enough images to appeal to your site visitors if you optimise every image – which your web design agency will know all about.
There are various ways to reduce the image sizes with compression software. You can also choose the format you use for images. The most popular format to use is PNG as this gives high quality for images that come as the smallest size.
Optimizing all images used for websites is such a small thing to do. People unwittingly overlook this detail very often. Thus, lose a large number of potential clients within their target audience. Making these changes is quick and broadens your target audience immediately.
