Email marketing has always been the foundation of the internet, and while many reporters may exclaim that it is dead, it really depends on who you ask. With spam comes spam filters, and these are actually doing more damage as they have the ability to block email that is not spam. This can have a detrimental effect on email marketing success. There are other ways of getting your emails through. You can pay a company to make sure your emails get through or you can set up a whitelist which will give your emails a better chance of arriving.

Once your emails have been delivered, you need to ensure that they will be opened. To help you do this you need to concentrate on your subject line. It is not a good idea to promise something you can’t deliver. Be honest and keep your subject lines short, clear and to the point.
