Directory submission is the cheap and best way to get good one way link. Itâ€™s the part of off page optimization and helpful to increase siteâ€™s page rank but it should be slow in process, donâ€™t make it fast.

Directory submission is a good option for collection of one way links but do not submit your site to porn, gambling and banned sites. These type sites are called bad neighborhood.

If you are using directory submission to promote your website then remember your site should be submitted in relevant category, so if search engine spiders come across your site listed in a directory and the site is in the right category, then spider will visit your site through this link.
