Advanced SEO Link Building

Link building is one of the most labour intensive and potentially difficult aspects of an effective SEO campaign. Finding new and beneficial SEO link sources will often prove more and more difficult as you progress through the life of an SEO campaign and this will often mean that you need to find new and unique methods of generating links that you hadn't previously considered. Advanced forms of SEO link building are those that many people would not consider, largely because they are less well published variants on the link building theme.

Hosted content pages are a form of advanced link building. Essentially you write a page of content including links to your own website and this page is then published on a link partner's site. The page is published whole and you gain the benefit of traffic to the website as well as any other SEO benefit that the site might have. It may be possible to find some sites willing to offer a hosted content page for free because it helps them build their own website content pages but more often than not you will need to pay a fee.

Paid blog posts work in a similar way except instead of writing the content yourself, the blog owner or publisher will write a brief review of your site and include links to one or more pages. In some cases you can request that specific links be used and paid blog posts, as the name implies, always require a payment in exchange for the post.
