Pay Per Click (PPC)

How to get continuous improvements from Your PPC Campaign

Posted in Pay Per Click (PPC) by Alan Reeves on 10th of September, 2008

PPC advertising is renowned for providing marketers with the quickest ROI and instant success. However while this is still the case today PPC can continuously improve with time. A good campaign build and close monitoring of bids in the first week is critical to success in PPC. But ongoing monitoring, tweaks and additions can keep clicks and conversions on the rise.

As a PPC campaign manager I get a kick out of seeing my campaigns succeed and I’m sure my customers do when they see the continuous improvement in their monthly PPC Campaign Reports. Monitoring the bids to generate the desired position, CTR and CPA should be done continuously. Also historic data can be used to improve ads and find new keywords and negatives.

Also don’t forget that not only the customers’ businesses and markets can change but search engines change as well. All of these changes need to be accounted for in your PPC campaign. So don’t just think that because a PPC campaign has started off very well that it will not get any better and make sure that you’re never satisfied with the campaign performance to become static.

A truly successful PPC Campaign will continuously improve and if you’re campaign isn’t then it simply requires more work. Give Click Consult a call if you haven’t got the time or expertise available to dedicate to your campaign to make it a real success and we’ll be happy to help.
