How do I get Successful PPC at Christmas?

Truth is, PPC should be successful all year round. Depending on seasonal trends which are dependant upon the industry you work in, sales or enquiries will be in proportion to the amount of money that is used in the advertising throughout the year. But there are fundamentals that advertisers need to address in order to be successful at Christmas:
1. Preparation. Here at Click Consult, work has already begun on key clients that advertise at Christmas and who’s sales at Christmas are crucial to the yearly success of their business. Sales for Christmas presents may make up around 25% of the yearly sales taken by a lot of advertisers so preparation is crucial.
2. PPC Research and campaign building. From recent research for clients Click Consult has, we have found there are already searches going through online for Christmas presents. A thorough understanding of internet search and of PPC can yield extremely good results at Christmas.
3. Pricing and Timings. Pricing of products need to be determined accurately in advance in order for return visitors to consistently see your good offering. Advertising at certain times of the day and certain days of the week at Christmas do yield the best results. Knowledge of such data is so valuable.
There are a number of other techniques that can be applied however there is no substitution for preparation and research combined! ‘Holidays are coming, holidays are coming……’
