Doing PPC on a small budget?

February 27th, 2009 by

Although there are methods by which to do PPC “on the cheap,” this tends to mean that your campaign isn't as effective as when you are able to dedicate more of your marketing budget.  Undoubtedly the best way to maximise the benefit of a PPC campaign is to employ a professional pay per click company to manage it for you.

The normal trend in PPC marketing is bidding for keywords and setting a daily budget as to how much are willing to spend on PPC a day. However, even with setting a daily limit, PPC marketing can turn out to be quite expensive in the long run.

This is especially true for beginners and those that have not yet optimized their keywords. Thus, it is preferable to start small with low cost pay per clicks.

Working with low cost PPC

One of the ways you can go about complementing your low cost PPC is through the use of organic traffic methods. These are free online methods of driving traffic and are often achieved through the use of article writing and blogging. In order to gain positive feedback you will need to write articles that are unique and valuable in content.

All you have to do for free traffic is to add your website link at the end should users want to look for more information. Furthermore, it is also important that you update your blogs or write articles regularly.

The articles can be submitted to article directories such as ezine, whilst blogging on popular sites such as wordpress should do the trick. There are also forums wherein one can advertise for free – but be careful not to spam.

Finally, there are PPC advertising sites available that offers introductory bonuses for adverts. An example would be to pay 1 cent for about 50 000 clicks. However, the catch in this is that they will send you a lot of unsolicited emails such as junk mails or spam. So be sure to sign up using a junk mail account or you may opt for a disposable email address.
