Convert Your PPC Ads To Yahoo
Google Adwords is used by most PPC managers, and you may be interested to know that you can copy your ad campaigns to Yahoo. This can be a great asset to your pay per click campaigns that perform exceptionally well in Google Adwords, as you can target them to Yahoo also. As a PPC manager you will invest much time and effort maximising the effect of PPC campaigns in Google Adwords so why not take that one step further by testing ads in Yahoo?
If this is something that you think would benefit your campaigns, here’s what to do:
Access your Google Adwords account and download the account, campaign or ad group that you want to target in Yahoo. Once you have the .CSV file remove any negative keywords as these will not be automatically converted by Yahoo. If you would like to change the start date do this and resave the file.
Next, access the Yahoo account and select the campaigns tab. Search for ‘import’ and then select the tab called ‘Convert third party campaigns’.
Then upload the saved file renaming it and then hit the convert button. This will change the .CSV file into a Yahoo version that can be edited and saved onto the desktop. Next return to the Yahoo account and select ‘Import campaigns’ and upload the Yahoo file.
Then you’re done, and you can focus on optimising the Yahoo campaign. Leave it to run for a couple of days and then adjust in the same way you would on Google.
