Use a PPC headline that makes people sit up and take notice

May 14th, 2009 by

No matter what you are doing on the internet, your headline is the most important part of your efforts. Whether you are blogging, building your landing page, writing an online press release or conducting a pay per click marketing campaign, your heading is the king of content.

Your heading is so important because it is what grabs the attention of your audience. You can win or lose an entire pay per click marketing campaign based on your headline. You need something that screams for attention. A good heading will get you far, but the right one can take you all the way to converting a visitor into a customer right there and then.

How to get it right

The right heading will catch the attention of your audience, it will let the person know exactly what to expect and prompt them to want to click through to your website. That is exactly what you want from a PPC advertisement heading. If your heading does not do that you are wasting your money and time. It may seem like an easy task but it is not. Being able to create the right PPC advertisement heading takes skill and knowledge.

You need to know your target market intimately. You must know what they want, what will motivate them to click through. Remember that you are not trying to squish the entire story into your PPC advert and you need to just whet their appetite so that they will click through to your website. They can find out the rest from there. Do not falsely advertise simply to get them to go to your website though, that will lead to trouble you do not need.
