The Perfect Structure Of Online Press Releases

December 23rd, 2008 by

Creating an online press release is a brilliant way to literally drive your targeted audience to your websites. You need to create a press release that is crafted in such a way that it will catch the attention of your intended audience and turn them from browsers into customers.

Structure is of critical importance

If your press release comes across as a sales letter, it will fail. The press release must follow the structure that have been proven to be successful in that it must be short with a maximum of 400 words, or people will become bored.

The introductory paragraph must read like a news story and introduce the reason for the press release. Attention grabbing keywords must be inserted in such a way as to hold the attention of the reader and draw the attention of the search engines.

The final paragraph must give an explanation of all the benefits your product or services have for potential customers and of utmost importance is providing links to lead your audience to the specific website the press release promotes.

That is what it is all about; newsworthy introduction, mention of any promotions or special offers and closure with the benefits to the customer. Easy and straightforward, but unless you are experienced in writing press releases, it is far better to go to a professional PR consultancy to do your press releases for you online.

They know exactly how to craft a press release for maximum impact and the many places to submit your press release to drive the highest number of your targeted audience to your website.
