As an entrepreneur your aim is to run your business in such a way as to make the most money while providing your customers with the best possible services. That is how business is done. Except the Internet is an ever changing world and to stay competitive you must keep up and do some level of internet marketing.

Press releases are nothing new, they hves been used for some time to bring business to the attention of potential customers. It is a great way to conduct marketing and advertising without directly pushing a sales pitch.

So, where do you stand with social media such as Facebook, You Tube and My Space? Celebrities and various artists have cottoned on to the social media phenomenon and use it extensively to get noticed and maintain their following of fans. Celebrities and various artists release short videos on the various social media websites and it works brilliantly.

Boost your business

Obviously for a business to make use of video for press release purposes will mean going about it a little bit differently. A video online press release needs to harness search engine optimisation to pull it off. For success a video needs keyword rich text so that the search engine bots can see it.

Video gives a business the means to put a promotional video together that is not only interesting, but speaks directly to its target audience. People are spending more and more time on the internet daily. So much so that many do not even bother watching TV anymore.

Using video for press release purposes have the ability for more exposure than most of the combined marketing strategies used traditionally. Definitely a cost effective investment to look into.

One such site that does all the above and more is Pressitt, a free Social Media News Release creation and publishing site. You can add as many YouTube videos to the release as you need to tell the story. http://www.pressitt.com
