Another benefit of online press release distribution is that it helps to build your credibility with anybody that reads it. Press releases are highly factual and newsworthy pieces that avoid the use of marketing and advertising speak in preference of facts and information. This means that readers will treat you as being an authoritative voice especially if you are featured in a news publication or on a news website.
The media is widely trusted by people from all walks of life including your target market, whoever that might be. As they read your online press release once it has been distributed to directories and published on websites it means that your credibility will grow. Readers will be more and more inclined to believe the content of your website and will trust that the services or products you offer provide genuine benefit to them.
Of the many advantages offered by online press releases, increased credibility is a difficult one to measure. There are certainly no benchmarked figures that you can use and there is no specific set of data that you can monitor that shows your credibility rating. However, you may begin to notice that more and more people visiting your site will read more of your content, click more of your links, and even purchase more of your products. These are not only measurable sets of data but also extremely desirable ones.
