First impressions count; that is simple fact. Your website represents you and your business on the Internet. This is why people pay web designers a hefty fee to design websites for them that wow their site traffic. You need to appeal to your site traffic within your target group to make them stay on your website and become customers. Effective web design is important to your business success.
There are factors that can make or break your online profile that are not always glaringly obvious to a website owner. Unfortunately these factors scream to all visitors that you are negligent and have a can’t-be-asked attitude. So have a look at your website and if you are guilty of any of these, it is time to start fixing the problems. Your business success depends on this.
Time for change
You lose prospective clients immediately if your website has poor loading time or there are browser compatibility problems. If they do get to your website and your website is unorganised and confusing, they will leave. Your site navigation must be smooth and easy for when visitors battle to get to web pages, they will go away. Web pages must be short and concise.
People do not want to scroll through endless paragraphs of text trying to find information. Web content must have excellent value for your visitors and poor content, especially content fraught with bad grammar and spelling mistakes shows negligence.
Tables and frames if used, must be done perfect and be appropriate. People notice all the little things on a website that points out that a website is not well designed. Look critically at your website design and ask yourself whether you will want to do business on a site like this or not?
