Email Marketing In The Holidays

July 21st, 2010 by

Creating an email marketing campaign takes a lot of hard work and effort, usually trying to decide how the recipients of your emails will react. Once you have a campaign up and running you will be able to study the statistics and look at responses to emails and improve them. One of the problems with any marketing strategy is that there are times of year where you will have a slow response to your emails and these statistics are generally harder to translate. One of the main times of year when your email marketing campaign may not be as successful as you would like is in the main summer holidays as many people are off on their vacation and generally not paying attention to tasks such as checking emails.

When emails stack up like this a person will usually tend to delete them all except the most important emails, which means you have wasted your time. This doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t send emails at holiday times but you should think creatively to try and attract attention from the recipient.

Special offers at holiday times such as Christmas, Easter or Guy Fawkes Night will make a person look twice. Make sure that your details are seen clearly in the sender’s box so that the recipient knows the mail isn’t spam, and try to make your heading appealing without over selling.

Here at internet marketing agency Click Consult we know how to increase your response rates throughout the year to achieve a successful email marketing campaign.
