Millions of people are required to sift through emails on a daily basis. So when it comes to email newsletters, unless they are attractive and contain contents relevant to the person's lives, they will simply just click the delete button. Engage and keep attention
The first thing your target audience would read is the title of the email. Thus, be sure to use attractive titles that will prick the curious mind so that they will want to open the emails. The content of the emails must relate to the title or you will disappoint and annoy your reader.
This could prevent them from opening newsletters they receive from you later on. In the email you should focus more on your customer and their needs, and then subtly offer how your products may help them in their daily lives. Ensure that the contents show your expertise in the field.
You may use jargon and people's experience in the articles. Positive experiences will often inspire the reader. Use conversational and friendly language to engage with your reader, as this is more comfortable and relaxing to read and will help your email marketing campaign to be more successful.
Try to avoid large paragraphs as people are usually put off by large amounts of text; instead opt for lists and use of relevant pictures, which are easier to read. You should also encourage customer feedback in your newsletters to see what your reader may require you to improve in the newsletters.
