Having eye-catching, interesting emails is essential to the success of your email marketing campaign. If the subject headings are unreal or boring they will end up in the deleted folder and not being opened. If your email content is boring, no one will read them, so your emails have to be fancy, right? Wrong! Using plain text is totally acceptable as long as the content is captivating.

Lots of fancy graphics and images may look attractive
and catch your readers' attention for a second, but will they go on to read what you have actually written? The layout of your email is very important. Keep up to three or four sentences for each paragraph at the most, meaning no more than five lines for each paragraph. Too much information all at once is not going to encourage someone to carry on reading, especially if they are tired or have other tasks that need attention.

Select sub headings for your paragraphs
so that your target audience can quickly skim through and see which sections will be of interest. Being able to spot some valuable information by skimming through an email will encourage your subscriber to open further emails. Having to read through lots of text, especially if accompanied by lots of graphics and fancy text, could alienate your reader.

Using a professional marketing company such as Click Consult will take the guess work out of writing captivating emails. We have more than twenty-five marketing experts who can help you create an interesting email marketing campaign that will keep your readers engrossed.
