The Hook In Email Marketing

January 16th, 2009 by

With the growth of easy Internet accessibility and email addresses all over the Internet, email marketing emerged and it, too, has started to spread.

There are many reasons as to why email marketing has become such a popular form of marketing and have captivated the hearts of many business owners whether they are small or big.

Cheap and effective – what more would you want?

For many business owners with their target audience being widespread online the effective way to reach them is through Internet marketing. Since there are so many forms of Internet marketing, why would you use email marketing? The answer is simple; the process of email sending is free!

The only thing you would be paying for are the Internet connection fees. Moreover, with emails you can send a single email to a large number of recipients (hundreds or even thousands), which is really convenient because then the only time and money being spent on is the construction of the email contents.

Email delivery is generally instant, even if they are not, the waiting period is short compared to that of normal letter or pamphlet delivery. Compared with other forms of marketing, there are no advertising fees (such as paying for advertising space) involved in email marketing.

Customer interaction is usually difficult however, email marketing allows businesses to interact with their customers on a more personal level such as addition of individual customer names with the use of mailing lists. Finally email marketing allows businesses to show off their efficient services and knowledge of their products, which can increase consumer confidence.
