Click Consult vs. Tough Mudder, again!

Posted in Company News by Dave Ryan on 19th of November, 2012

This past weekend a team of strapping Click Consult employees took on one of the hardest physically and mentally demanding events on the planet, the suitably feared Tough Mudder challenge!

The courageous group of Click mudders took on icy water, bitter cold and cumbersome mud to conquer a 12 mile obstacle course designed by the military to test all around strength, endurance, determination, and team work.

You may remember a handful of Click employees took on Tough Mudder earlier this year in aid of Claire House; however this time round additional gutsy Click Consult recruits joined ranks for Claire House again as they took on the extremely demanding Tough Mudder for a second time.

Big Martin makes a big splash!

The team wrapped up warm to fight the November chill and the forthcoming obstacles in order to get through mud, ice-water and 10,000 volts of electricity Team Click worked as a cohesive unit to cross the line together, leaving no man or woman behind.

While the thought of jumping into wintry water and struggling through knee high mud in frosty November doesn’t sound too appealing, it was all in an effort to raise charitable funds for Claire House. Click Consult has been committed to contributing financial resources to Claire House for the past few months to reach a target of £6,500. This lofty aim is the staggering cost of running the Claire House hospice for a single day and it is something we are very proud to be involved with and with your help, hope to achieve. If you want to help us reach this objective then please donate anything you can here.

A massive thank you to our entire heroic Click team that took time out of their weekend to rightfully earn their Tough Mudder headbands with pride and determination, as they defeated the monumental Tough Mudder challenge!

Currently our Claire House total is only £3,646.09, so we are still a way to go before reaching our £6,500 landmark! Therefore, any contributions would be greatly appreciated.

From everyone at Click Consult we want to say a massive well done to all of our Click Tough Mudders!
