So why is geographical reach important in affiliate marketing? The first being that you will need to manage the affiliates that work for you. Being close to your affiliates makes working together easier because then you are able to communicate telephonically should anything be urgent instead of via email and the uncertainty of read and response time is too great.
Furthermore, being close to your affiliates allow you to build stronger relationships with them because then you appear more real to them so that they are more motivated to direct traffic your way. Close proximity is also useful in that payment can be made without complications because there is no need to worry about exchange rates and online account internet security.
Another reason why geographical location is important in Affiliate Marketing is because your customers can obtain support from you easily should they require any. Reaching far areas will involve postage, which can be expensive, and if there are complications customers will need to send them back this can inconvenience the customers.
Finally, if you do decide to expand your business, ensure that you train staff in the distant locations so that affiliates and customers can obtain support easily.
