Affiliate marketing is the commission based method of promotion of people's products based on the actions the person of the company requires. This can be through Internet link clicking, registration and sales. This may sound like a simple process but can actually be really difficult in reality.

This is because the products that you generally sell may be a new brand, which people do not know about and depending on your method of marketing but strangers will not be convinced unless they trust you and the product. Thus, building the right business relationships is crucial when it comes to affiliate marketing.

Relationship building

A loyal customer base is created based on trust. You will need to start putting the customers first and think about their needs and not yours. Offer them valuable free information and be attentive to their needs by replying to questions or doing some research. Three important tips are:
•    Be available to assist your customers
•    Offer FAQs
•    Provide quality content on your website

You may also use affiliates to help you with your affiliate marketing and it is important to build a good relationship with them as well. The chances are that they could be working for others as well so you will need to offer them a good commission for them to spend more time on driving traffic to you.

You may also ask for feedback from your affiliates to help improve your business. Asking feedback also makes them feel they are important. Finally, you can offer them interactive workshops so they learn what to do and get to know you better.
