Click Consult are pleased to announce that they have partnered with the local charity, Claire House Children's Hospice. As Click Consult's nominated charity, the hospice will receive long-term support through the charity work done by staff at the internet marketing agency.
Claire House Children's Hospice need roughly £2.5 million per year to cover its cost of care, and this amounts to roughly £6,500 per day. They are asking fundraisers to 'Pay for a Day', and although this may not seem like a lot given their annual expenses, it will provide 24 hours of quality care for a terminally ill child where the family can all be together. Click Consult are hoping to reach this goal by the end of their business year - 1st November 2012.
What Claire House Children's Hospice Offers
Claire House is a sanctuary for and young people living with a life threatening or life limiting condition, as well as providing support for their families, allowing them to forget daily routines and just enjoy themselves. Children and young people can spend time at the hospice on their own, with the expert nurses and carers to look after them, allowing parents to take a rest from their role as carers. Claire House aim to be a home-from-home for children, young people and their families.
As well as offering respite, Claire House also offer palliative care for young people and children by helping them create memories and experience that last a lifetime. They also provide end of life care, hospice to home services, bereavement support and counselling, and alternative and complimentary therapies.
