How To Boost Your Website With PRs
Not many people associate press releases with their site's traffic, but the two can be intimately intertwined. Online press releases are one of the favourite tools of search engine optimisation companies because they spread the word about a site and generate links. You can use them for this purpose, too. Search engine optimisation is all about getting your pages to feature high in the results whenever someone performs a search. There are a number of things you can do to achieve this, but getting links that point to your site is one of the most important. Businesses invest serious money to get mediocre links for their sites. A well-written online press release can achieve the same thing, but much more effectively. One of the attractions of using online press releases for SEO is that the links generated are likely to be of a good quality. A link that comes from a general directory will not be as valuable to your site as a link that comes from an industry blog. One of the reasons for writing a good online press release is that it will help you make connections and get your business mentioned in areas that are relevant to your industry. An online press release won't be much help for your website if your link is not included. There are other ways to implant SEO into your press releases, and you can discuss this with us at Click Consult. A good online press release needs to be tailored to work effectively for your search marketing campaign.

Online Press Releases: Think Differently
Consider two pieces published on a business website. One is titled: 'Company announces business research leap'. One is titled: 'Step by step funding guide'. Which of these is an online press release? The answer is, both of them could be. Your online press release only has the restrictions you place on it. In fact, you will find that when you think outside the box, your press releases have a much better chance of success. Consider the first example. Although it is the most obvious candidate for a press release, it has only a little chance of success when posted to a general press release site, or even emailed to the press. It focuses on the company, which is certainly interesting to the site's owners and may have some interest to anyone who wanders onto the site. Outside of the realm of the company, however, people will be interested in this piece only if the research is newsworthy in itself. The second example has a better chance of being picked up for itself. It is far from the traditional press release form, but it provides interesting and helpful information that the reader will find valuable. It is, in short, newsworthy, and an interesting piece on its own that can be a great source of links to your site. Thinking differently can be the difference that sees your online press release triumph. If you're considering creating online press releases with a difference, talk to our experts at Click Consult.
