Follow Every Lead

posted on: August 5th, 2010

There's little point in attracting customers to your site and getting them interested in your product, if you're unable to make the most of that interest by effectively following up on leads. In internet marketing it makes no sense at all to ignore interest in your product by not responding to that interest. One of the easiest ways to encourage site visitors to follow up their interest is to provide a form to help them request more information. Every visitor who signs up for your marketing e-mail list is a qualified lead. Social networking sites, particularly where users are engaged in discussions related to your business, are great for generating leads. In Twitter you can even find lists of topical trends. You can search these trends for references to your products or services and directly contact potential leads. It's essential to follow up leads, and to treat every one as a priority. If you aren't prepared to act on a lead and get back in touch with a potential customer, and in good time, you could easily lose important business opportunity. Not only that, but your loss could be your competitors' gain. Leads can be efficiently followed by using an auto responder, a program on your web site that automatically responds to e-mails sent by visitors. The auto responder can then follow up on this initial contact with regular marketing e-mails. By providing effective responses, you have a greater chance of converting interest to sales. At Click Consult we can help you generate high quality leads, and show you the best ways to follow them up effectively.

The Importance Of Trust

posted on: March 31st, 2010

An effective email marketing campaign will help you to establish trust and respect with your search marketing subscribers. However, it is not enough to just tell your email recipients that you are trustworthy, you have to actually be trustworthy and this can be proved to your subscribers through several actions. When you send emails, always make it clear who they are from by making sure your name is in the subject heading and the ‘sent from’ box. Use the name that your recipients will most recognise as that will encourage them to open the email. Include a familiar name in the preview pane as that is what the customer sees initially. When you create your email marketing campaign ensure that your contact details are provided on every email along with the opportunity to unsubscribe from your list, making it easy to do so. This may seem like a backwards step but allowing a person to remove themselves from your list and making it very easy for them to do so will show that you are not trying to trick them into anything - as well as complying with regulations. Giving a person the freedom of choice often results in positive actions. Give your email recipients an invitation to contact you, maybe by offering a competition or free prize draw. You could invite feedback on your merchandise to encourage communication. Open communication helps to build trust. There are many methods of building trust with subscribers and here at Click Consult we have the skill to help you forge a long term relationship with your subscribers.
