SEO (search engine optimisation) is usually described as the strategic use of keywords and key phrases to optimally bring the content of a website to the attention of the search engine crawlers. This gives the website a better ranking in the search page results. Then what exactly is semantic SEO content writing?
This means writing content using natural language; optimising more around the keywords and not placing too much accent on the keywords themselves. This gives your content a natural flow and it speaks to your website visitors in language they use daily.
Too much emphasis on keywords creates text that becomes choppy, stilted and unnatural. Using natural language means you put your visitors’ needs before that of the search engines.
All-round appeal
Most Internet users are net savvy. They quickly realise it if your optimisation efforts are focused on pleasing the search engine algorithms and not on them. Websites that put search engines before human visitors give a clear message to site visitors. It shows them that you care more for the search engines and that you are not really concerned whether they read your content or not.
Your visitors will send you a clear answer; they don’t bother to come back to your website. Using semantic search engine optimisation writing brings definite measurable benefits. SEO content that is written in natural language will be read right to the end, users on't give up halfway through a web page. The rate of return visitors is far higher, which is the goal of any business website. Return visitors brings a higher conversion rate.
Other websites are eager to link to websites that use natural language and good link building is incredibly important for your own website rating. Semantic SEO in a win-win situation all round; pleasing the web crawlers, appeal to site visitors and attracting good links.
