A portion of any website's SEO should be spent on the creation and provision of high quality SEO content. SEO content should first entail the highlighting of the most appropriate and well targeted keywords. Keyword research will form the foundation of many an SEO campaign because it helps ensure that you drive targeted traffic to your pages. Once they reach your page, it will be down to the effectiveness of your SEO content and whether it has also been written to convert in order to determine the effectiveness.

While SEO is primarily a method of generating targeted traffic, it is important to remember that once visitors arrive on your site they expect to see high quality content that is written for their benefit and not the benefit of search engines. The provision of high quality SEO content should include, therefore, good content that is optimised to convert as well as optimised to drive traffic. Fortunately, this is an achievable combination and writing for conversions does not have to exclude the opportunity to write SEO content.

As well as the textual elements of your website content, you should also consider the image and dynamic elements of web pages. These should be optimised for the search engines as well as visitors as well, again to help ensure that you get the best results from your SEO traffic. Building traffic levels really is only half of the battle and you must ensure that driving qualified visitors to your pages also culminates in the conversion of these visitors into customers.
