Happy Birthday Google from all PPCers

Filed under: Google Adwords by Dan @ 7:57 am

Birthday is usually a day when we look back at a previous year of our life. Some people will find themselves getting a year older, others- a year wiser and others will be proud of not only numerical but also their personal growth.

This year is a special one- Google's 10 years anniversary.

Even in human time frame it's not much and hence this is why it is so impressive to look back at a starting point of the Greatest Search Engine.

Ten years ago the world seemed to be much larger…and then came Google, competing with Yahoo and stealing its crown by creating an advanced search engine far superior to everything else and by introducing Pay per Click which made Google the richest engine.

For Google looking back is going to be a proud one- 65% of the world search share, flourishing Pay per Click business and many other new and unique products passionately developed by its team.

Last 10 years were the busiest ones- the 9/11, wars in Afghanistan & Iraq, economic booms and bust, US election campaign & etc. But Google have always been there to reflect out lives, tastes and inspirations.

For Google ten years anniversary also means maturity, responsibility and choice of direction. Is Google going to mature gracefully or fall as other great world empires?

Happy Birthday Google!
