An e-reputation is the reputation of a company on the world wide web. In some aspects if is easier to achieve a good e-reputation due to the ease with which information can be published online.

Sending your well-written, factual and professional press release to the correct contacts will translate into a lot of positive media reports about your product or service. Press releases should be the basis of an article or news story, giving journalists all the facts in order to write a story for publication.

Many websites and publications do not re-write press releases and they are often published unedited. It is therefore vital to have a great narrative press release including all the facts. Press releases offer you a great opportunity to present facts in your favour.

How to make your press release more visible

Many companies do not have the media contacts in order to distribute a press release themselves and see a great effect. The distribution list of a press release is vital, as you need to get it to as many online publishers as possible at the same time.

No news provider would like to publish something that was on a competitors website the week before. Consider making use of a press release distribution service in order to get the maximum exposure from your press release.

Press releases can be send to online news services like Google news and all search engine websites. They can be included in Javascript, HTML and RSS feeds and should also be available on your own website.
