What is SEO? Many know that SEO is search engine optimisation but what does it do? SEO is changes you make to get it to and keep your website in a top ranking position on search engine results pages. Simple enough?

The things you have to do to achieve optimum SEO might be a little more complicated but the idea is simple enough. To add extra weight and benefit you need to keep your business out there and in the public eye with online press releases.

Branching out into press releases is always a good idea but now that you are sitting back and waiting for the dividends to start rolling in it is just not happening. Or it is not happening as well as you had planned. Why?

Optimum optimising

You need to make sure that your online press releases are optimized in order to get them most out of them. You need to take your SEO tactics and use the same principles on your press releases. So, in essence you need to turn SEO into Press Release Optimization. The simplest form of PRO is to look to your keywords. Keywords aren’t everything but they sure do a lot for you.

You need to pick keywords that will get your article noticed. Getting noticed is your key objective with a press release in the first place so using the right keywords helps you on your way to press release success. You also need to use the right number of keywords. Too little won’t get you noticed. Too many will get you noticed in a bad way. Just the right amount will help you get you to your goal.
