Look at the major directories and read some of the press releases they have published because this will also help you get a clearer understanding of the formatting requirements that you need to meet you guarantee publication.

Press releases are highly specific form of media that have equally specific requirements. Not only should they be appealing and persuade readers to start at the beginning and end at the end but they should use proper grammar, accurate spellings, and fully researched facts. By reading other press release sources you can help to identify the main areas that will require your attention while also giving you an insight into the kind of content you should write.
