It comes down to you as the email marketer to see how many innovative ways you can find to attract customers and keep them interested to become paying clients and repeat clients. It is all about pitting your wits against the cynicism of modern day consumers.

Hit them with new ideas and in ways they have not grown used to and sit back and see what works best. Then take the top successful results and tweak them and throw out your net once again. The rules you need to be very wary of breaking are those related to spamming as this can cause your emails to be blacklisted.

You can use your blog proactively and give your readers fresh daily titbits concerning promotions and products on your specific ‘hot list’. This is the perfect way to encourage opting onto your email lists.
Plan your campaign with seasonal themes and make use of eye-catching logos and visuals that your clients will associate with a specific theme. This is a fun way to create continuity and will keep your customers interested. Technology keeps changing and this gives you access to new ways to tweak the interest of your customers, so email marketing never needs to be boring.
