Relationship affiliate marketing

posted on: September 29th, 2009

Niche markets are attracting more and more competition. From an Affiliate Marketing point of view you need to do something extra if you want to attract customers to purchase from your links. Relationship marketing is a way to stand out from your competitors. For instance, if people other than yourself are promoting the same product as a consumer you will be more open to buying from someone you know and trust. Relationship Affiliate Marketing is about building relationships of trust and friendship. Encouraging good relationships means you will gain credibility. What will help build this is if you are knowledgeable about your product and provide them with consistently good, reliable and relevant information. Once people are getting value from you they will be more open to getting more information, especially when you are promoting new products. Your response from them will improve and they will be more open to purchasing from you alone. It is suggested that you should be selective about the products you are promoting. The quality of the product has a bearing on your credibility. Relationship Affiliate Marketing is worth the time and effort you put into it. Your subscribers will help you grow and maintain a long term business and consistent profits. Your sole source of income hinges on the relationship you have with your customers and if they know you are honest they won’t take their business elsewhere. They will be more responsive to you. There are two rules to relationship building • Always provide good and relevant content. • Promote good affiliate products

Don’t affiliate to sell old news

posted on: September 21st, 2009

Affiliate marketing takes on many different forms and faces across a wide spectrum of online marketing. Affiliate marketing is one of the most lucrative and accessible online marketing types you can get. However, there are a few things to know before you can be successful at it. Professional affiliate marketing companies are there to lend you a helping hand so that you can make the most of your affiliate marketing campaign, regardless of the form it takes. As a marketer for an affiliate you have the option of declining or accepting offers to become part of someone’s affiliate network. Now, email marketing is something that is very popular because of its specific audience and its efficiency. So it is only natural that you will find affiliates wanting to advertise in your newsletters, etc. Here is where you have to be careful. Affiliates and money Not all bad affiliate marketing choices come from affiliating with bad or dodgy websites. It is up to you to make the best choice for your company. You need to promote newsworthy product launches that are current and up to day with the times. Promoting products that are old news or that nobody wants will only be wasting your precious time and effort. You need to make a commission in order to get paid for your affiliate marketing. You won’t be making much of a commission if you promote old news. Keep things current to attract attention, make money and stay popular with your mailing list readers. Offering them old news will not do your reputation any good.
